The Royal Ottawa Foundation for Mental Health is proud to recognize individuals in the National Capital Region who have personally selected to “make a difference” by raising awareness of the urgent needs of mental health care in our community.
Each year the Foundation invites the community to nominate individuals or business leaders who have been motivated by their own personal or professional experiences with mental illness to educate and inspire others while contributing to the de-stigmatization of the disease.
The Foundation is accepting 2012 nominations in 5 categories (Leader for Mental Health Category, Community Category, Personal Category or Youth Category plus the Youth Anti-Stigma Video Contest) to present 8 Inspiration Awards. Deadline for submission is January 9, 2012.
